A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid on Thursday saw a section of his home in Spain’s capital catch fire.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Vinícius Jr. as the player in question.
Winger Vinícius is for his part currently in Seoul, South Korea, with Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazilian national team. This comes ahead of upcoming fixtures against South Korea and Japan.
The 25-year-old, in turn, was no doubt left deeply concerned by the news stemming from his home in Madrid on Thursday morning.
As per a report from Marca:
‘An electrical fire broke out Thursday morning at the home of Real Madrid footballer Vinicius Junior, located in the La Moraleja residential area in Alcobendas.’
The fire, it is understood, formed in the false ceiling of the sauna in the basement of the property.
Smoke, from here, filled several floors of the building, though none are understood to have suffered injuries.
The fire brigade departed Vinícius’ home around midday, with the situation under control.
