Ever since Achraf Hakimi began to blossom at Borussia Dortmund and then at Inter Milan, which led to his PSG move, there’s been buzz about a potential return to Real Madrid at some point.
With Dani Carvajal in his prime, Hakimi wasn’t going to break through, which led to his departure from his boyhood club. Moreover, when Kylian Mbappe left for the Spanish side, many assumed that the Frenchman would love to convince his former teammate and friend to join him.
Nonetheless, Hakimi would sign an extension with PSG until 2029, and the Parisians aren’t going to hand the player away, especially with him and Nuno Mendes as their full-back pairing.

With Carvajal now in the twilight of his career, the Spanish club will be looking to replace him. As a result, could the look for Hakimi despite knowing how challenging it will be?
Marca reports that a sensational Real Madrid return for Achraf Hakimi has “never been off the table,” though bringing the PSG defender back would require a significant fee, as his contract runs through 2029.
Still, unless Hakimi forces his way out, it doesn’t seem like the right-back will leave PSG, considering his importance and now term he has. Furthermore, he’s established himself as a leader, often wearing the armband when Marquinhos isn’t on the pitch.
