Rodrygo's career suffered its most heartbreaking moment last week. This Tuesday, the Brazilian underwent successful surgery.

Rodrygo sustained a serious injury shortly after coming on against Getafe in La Liga. Following the match, multiple outlets reported a major setback for the Brazilian before Real Madrid confirmed he would be sidelined for 10 months due to severe damage to his cruciate ligaments and meniscus.

Already ruled out of the 2026 World Cup for Brazil and off the pitch until 2027, Rodrygo broke his silence this Tuesday on Instagram after a successful operation.

“Thank God everything went well in surgery! A new chapter starts today. A new Rodrygo is born… I’m ready to go through this whole process and experience God’s blessings in my life. Truly grateful for every message of love.” he wrote.
