Real Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by Real Betis on Friday night, which pretty much ended any slim hopes of making a late push for the La Liga title.
The game also brought more injury concerns for the Merengues as superstar forward Kylian Mbappe finished with discomfort in his hamstring.
In what was his 100th appearance for the club, the 27-year-old Frenchman was taken off in the 81st minute after he complained of pain in the hamstring and could not carry on.
Now, according to journalist Sergio Quirante of DAZN, Mbappe underwent an ultrasound scan earlier this morning to assess the severity of his hamstring discomfort.
And, the initial results of the scan were good, suggesting that the issue might not be very serious.
However, the French superstar is scheduled to undergo more tests, with an MRI scheduled for Monday, to determine the extent of the problem.

Following that, it will become clear if he will miss any matches or be able to play without any issues.
Real Madrid will face off against RCD Espanyol in their next game before the all-important El Clasico against Barcelona on 10 May.
As such, Alvaro Arbeloa & co. will be hoping that Mbappe’s problem is not serious, with initial positive scan results giving them confidence.
There is also the matter of Mbappe’s Pichichi Trophy race, with Mallorca striker Vedat Muriqi closing in on him at the top of the La Liga goalscoring charts this season.
The Real Madrid megastar has netted 24 goals in the competition so far, with Muriqi only three behind on 21.
