Rodrygo recently suffered a serious injury to his right knee, a setback that will rule him out for the remainder of the season

The injury is also expected to prevent him from participating in the upcoming World Cup, which was one of the biggest personal goals of the player.

Rodrygo has Real Madrid’s full support

Despite the magnitude of the setback, Real Madrid have moved quickly to reassure the forward about his long-term place at the club.

Internally, the message from the club’s leadership to the Brazilian has been very direct.

“Your future is here,” it says.

Rodrygo is currently under contract with Real Madrid until 2028, and the club sees him as an important part of their long-term sporting project.

In fact, according to the report, the injury has not changed the club’s perspective in any way.

From Madrid’s point of view, there was never any uncertainty regarding his future in the first place.

For the moment, though, the exact date of Rodrygo’s surgery has not yet been determined.

Medical staff is closely monitoring the condition of his knee before deciding the right moment for the operation.

Doctors are taking a cautious approach because performing surgery too early could complicate the recovery process.

Current estimates suggest the Brazilian could be out of action for between 10 and 12 months.

If the recovery timeline ends up closer to the shorter end of that range, it would be considered a positive outcome.

On the other hand, the emotional impact of the injury has naturally been significant for the player.

Missing the World Cup is a major disappointment, especially because Rodrygo had hoped to play an important role for the national team.

However, the Brazilian is determined to return stronger, with the next major target being the 2030 World Cup.

Real Madrid, for their part, intend to fully support him throughout the entire recovery process.
