In recent years, Spain has become the hotbed for racially-motivated hate, both on stadiums and on social media.
While the likes of Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Jr. have faced the brunt of it, Real Madrid have receiving the most hate on Spanish social media, in terms of clubs.
This is according to Spanish Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia (Oberaxe), an organisation that has analysed the scale of abusive messages circulating online, with football once again proving to be one of the main targets for this behaviour, reports MARCA.
While much of the attention in the report centres around the abuse directed at individual players, Oberaxe also measured the hostility aimed at clubs.
In that section, Real Madrid sit at the top of the list, receiving 34% of all hateful messages directed at teams in Spain.
It is a significant share, and one that highlights the scale of negativity surrounding the club across different online platforms.

Barcelona follow closely behind with 32%, showing how both giants of Spanish football dominate digital conversations and hostility.
What is more surprising is the club that completes the podium: Real Valladolid, who account for 17% of the monitored hate.
They finish ahead of clubs with much larger fanbases, such as Valencia (8%), Athletic Club (6%), Real Sociedad (5%) and Atletico Madrid (4%).
Oberaxe director Tomas Fernandez told Cadena SER that what happens on social media reflects wider societal trends.
According to him, many users do not realise the seriousness of the language they use, but the aggressive tone can easily spill over into real life.
The report also points out how these patterns intensify around high-profile matches, with terms used during El Clasico offering a worrying insight into the level of abuse.
