At Real Madrid, the succession plan for Vinicius Jr is already underway.
Under contract until 2027, Vinicius Jr wants to match the salary of Kylian Mbappé, while the club is already offering him €20 million net, potentially rising to €25 million with bonuses. True to its wage policy, Real Madrid refuses to exceed this ceiling and remains firm: it’s take it or leave it, according to information from Sport. And if no agreement is reached, Vinícius could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of his contract.
Anticipating the potential departure of their Brazilian star, Real Madrid has already identified his successor: Erling Haaland. Bringing in the Norwegian striker won’t be easy, but the connections between his entourage and Vinícius’ agent, Rafaela Pimienta, could smooth negotiations. Some English sources even mention a scenario where a transfer of Vinícius to Saudi Arabia for a staggering fee (around €200 million) would give the Madrid club the financial firepower to go after Manchester City’s prolific forward.
