After Real Madrid's defeat against Manchester City on Wednesday night in the Champions League, Thibaut Courtois once again sent a powerful message to the Madrid dressing room.

For Real Madrid, the 1-2 loss to Manchester City in the Champions League this Wednesday has plunged the future of coach Xabi Alonso into further uncertainty. Speaking to Canal+, Thibaut Courtois insisted that the Basque manager still has the full support of the squad.

"We give everything, we are 100% behind the coach, but of course people are talking. We’re with the coach, and we showed that by fighting until the final whistle. (...) The only thing that matters now is winning the match on Sunday, then in the Cup, and then at home against Sevilla. After that, there will be the Christmas break. If we win these next three games, we'll come back even stronger in January. But since November, we haven’t won much, and that’s not good for us. We have to turn this around," the player stated.
