Real Madrid top LaLiga salary cap as Barcelona climb but remain over limit | OneFootball

Real Madrid remain clear atop LaLiga’s spending limits at 761 million euros after the league updated caps for Primera and Segunda División. Barcelona are edging back towards financial normality, helped by their return to Camp Nou. LaLiga’s Límite de Coste de Plantilla Deportiva is the maximum each club may spend on the first-team squad and coaching staff, plus the B team, academy and other sections. It covers fixed and variable pay, image-rights payments, transfer amortisation, social security, severance, collective bonuses and agent-related costs. The cap is based on income minus structural costs and planned debt repayments, is validated by LaLiga, and clubs over it face restrictions on registrations and renewals until corrected.
