A leading member of the transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Real Madrid has on Saturday evening dropped a potential hint when it comes to his arrival at the club.

The subject of reinforcements has of course taken its place front and centre in the chatter in Spain’s capital across the day to date.

This comes after Real Madrid’s first high-profile signing of the summer was announced.

Los Blancos have tied up a deal for Bournemouth talent Dean Huijsen, set to add some much-needed depth to the central defensive ranks at the Santiago Bernabéu for next season.

Florentino Pérez and co, though, are far from done there…

Further additions are expected to be announced over the weeks ahead, with one player widely tipped to take his talents to Madrid coming in the form of Álvaro Carreras.

Amid an ongoing search for fresh blood at left-back, Benfica standout Carreras is understood to have been earmarked as a leading target on the part of Los Merengues.

All associated with Real Madrid, in turn, will no doubt be interested to learn of the Spaniard’s latest activity on social media…
