Real Madrid unhappy with France’s management of Kylian Mbappé | OneFootball

Real Madrid are unhappy about how the France national team handled Kylian Mbappé’s (27) situation, as per a report from L’Équipe. The captain of Les Bleus injured himself in the UEFA Nations League win over Turkiye on Friday (1-0).

Mbappé started in Zinédine Zidane’s first game in charge of France and netted the only goal of the game in the second half. However, it was while shooting with his right foot that he damaged his left knee. The former Paris Saint-Germain forward immediately withdrew from the set-up to return to Spain for tests on the injury. The injury has yet to be diagnosed.

Real Madrid had wanted Mbappé to be rested against Turkiye. The forward arrived at Clairefontaine with mild pain in the same area that he injured on Friday night. This information was communicated to the France medical team and asked for care to be taken.
