Real Madrid have unveiled their home kit for 2026-27, introducing red sleeve stripes in a major change from last season.
According to L'Équipe, the shirt has been officially presented and is expected to debut in pre-season, with PSG and Bayern Munich among the clubs to have already revealed theirs.
The design largely follows this term's look, except on the sleeves, where the bands will be red and slightly wider than the black used last season. Red has rarely appeared on a Real Madrid shirt, making the tweak eye-catching.
The club unveiled it with a restrained message, presenting the identity as one of elegance. Elsewhere, some teams wore their 2026-27 strips in the closing matches of 2025-26.
The launch comes amid significant upheaval in Madrid, with presidential elections due on Sunday and rumours over José Mourinho's possible arrival continuing. Several names are being linked to strengthen the squad. Madrid finished second in La Liga, eight points behind Barcelona, and were knocked out by Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals, 2-1 and 3-4, after a trophyless season.
