Real Madrid value Man United target at same price as Enzo Fernandez – report | OneFootball

Manchester United’s interest in Aurelien Tchouameni has reportedly prompted Real Madrid to establish a clear valuation for the French midfielder, with Florentino Perez unwilling to entertain offers below €120 million.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have informed interested clubs that Tchouameni will only be allowed to leave if an offer matching Chelsea’s valuation of Enzo Fernandez arrives at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

Although, despite this development, it is important to note that Real Madrid are not actively seeking a sale this summer.

However, the club’s ongoing squad planning under Jose Mourinho means every scenario remains open if the financial conditions are considered favourable.

Real Madrid demand €120m for Tchouameni

Notably, Tchouameni has emerged as one of the names attracting interest in the market, particularly after Eduardo Camavinga made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Real Madrid this summer.

Even in that situation, the club do not consider Tchouameni a player they need to sell.

However, the reality is that Real Madrid need sales to accommodate new signings and in that regard, Florentino Perez values the French international at a minimum of €120 million, an amount identical to the price Chelsea are currently demanding for Enzo Fernandez.

That figure has effectively become Real Madrid’s benchmark in any potential negotiations involving the French international.

Club officials believe the midfielder remains an important player for Mourinho, although he is not viewed as untouchable within the current project.

If a proposal reaches €120 million, Real Madrid would be prepared to study the situation and enter discussions.

Anything below that valuation is unlikely to be considered.

Of late, Manchester United’s interest in Tchouameni is understood to be genuine, with the Premier League club continuing to monitor developments surrounding the Real Madrid midfielder.

The report suggests that Manchester United would have little difficulty meeting the player’s salary demands and are prepared to make Tchouameni one of the highest-paid footballers within the squad.

Personal terms are therefore not expected to become a stumbling block if Manchester United decide to intensify their pursuit.

At present, however, Florentino Perez has no intention of reducing the asking price and it remains to be seen whether Man United are willing to match this figure.
