Real Madrid prodigy Joan Martínez was back in the thick of things in first-team training on Tuesday morning.
This comes amid the ongoing efforts of the stopper to carve out minutes for himself at senior level.
The player in question? Joan Martínez.
Youngster Joan’s name will likely be well known to close followers of Real Madrid.
As much comes with the Spaniard, despite his tender years, widely considered to be the future of the capital heavyweights’ backline.
Joan recently returned from a long-term spell on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
Prior to as much, though, the stopper had at just 16 years of age broken into the first-team picture in Spain’s capital.
Confidence in turn remains that, upon finding full fitness once more, Joan will quickly begin pushing for a place in Xabi Alonso’s matchday plans.
And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, he was afforded a chance to impress once more.
This came by way of a place alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham and Álvaro Carreras in senior training at Valdebebas:
