Dani Carvajal could miss the remainder of Real Madrid’s season after suffering a foot injury in another setback.
The club said in a statement that the right-back has a fracture of the distal phalanx of the fifth toe on his right foot, and gave no timeframe for recovery.

He should miss the La Liga match against Espanyol on Sunday at nine pm, as well as the Clásico on 10 May.
His availability to face Real Oviedo on 14 May is also uncertain, putting a potential return this season in doubt.
Carvajal’s campaign has been disrupted by injuries, and he has played only 14 league matches so far.
