Jeremy de Leon is one of the most popular youth players in Real Madrid. Although the youngster is yet to make any sort of impact in the first team, he enjoys popularity within the youth camp.

De Leon is commonly known as Real Madrid’s lucky charm as well, as he has travelled with the team on each of their top performances in the past.

Nevertheless, de Leon’s progression at RM Castilla is set to come to a halt, as the player has picked up a fresh injury.

Fresh injury for Jeremy de Leon

As reported by Rodra P, Jeremy de Leon has picked up a fresh shoulder injury, which could rule him out on the sidelines for a considerable period.

The report adds that the youngster will require surgery to recover from his shoulder knock, which, in turn, could rule him out of action until 2025.

This is extremely unfortunate for de Leon, who had picked up an ankle injury early on in the campaign as well.

An uncertain future at Real Madrid

This fresh injury could further halt the growth of de Leon, who is having a season to forget.

The Puerto Rican starlet has barely played football for RM Castilla this season, featuring in just three matches – totalling 25 minutes.

After suffering a sprained ankle early on in the season, Castilla coach Raul Gonzalez never really utilised his services and as such, the youngster barely played in the following matches.

Another injury, therefore, could further slow the progress of de Leon, whose future in the Spanish capital could be in doubt if his struggles with injuries continue.
