Real Madrid have been plunged into a serious injury crisis, especially after the club confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be sidelined for two months with a thigh injury.
This setback comes at a particularly challenging moment for Los Blancos, who are already struggling with a congested schedule and a mounting list of absences across the squad.
To put the situation into perspective, Real Madrid have suffered 13 injuries in just 31 days, which is a dramatic surge compared to the 13 injuries the team endured over the three months from August to October.
Last season, under Carlo Ancelotti, the squad faced similar physical challenges, but this November has proved especially punishing.
The rapid accumulation of injuries has coincided with a period of sub-par results, leaving Xabi Alonso with limited options in crucial fixtures.
Some of the players currently sidelined include Eduardo Camavinga, Antonio Rudiger, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Carvajal, among others.

Unlike the staggered injuries in the early months of the season, these absences have overlapped, leaving the coach scrambling for solutions and relying on limited depth in the squad.
Other injuries during this 31-day period include Eder Militao, David Alaba, Dean Huijsen, Ferland Mendy, Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde, Franco Mastantuono, and Kylian Mbappe.
The impact of this injury surge goes beyond immediate selection, as Alonso’s ability to rotate the squad effectively has been severely hampered, and the tight fixture list demands consistency and physical availability.
Some minor relief comes from players who were only absent due to international duty, but the frequency and severity of the injuries have placed unprecedented strain on the squad.
Amid all this, the fact of the matter remains that the players are struggling to cope with the demading schedule, which is eventually reflecting on the pitch.
