After having beaten Atletico Madrid 2-1 to secure a place in the Spanish Super Cup final, Real Madrid have been boosted with the availability of ace goalscorer Kylian Mbappe.
The French superstar had not travelled to Saudi Arabia for the tournament and missed the semifinal due to a ligament injury.
However, having worked on his recovery over the week, the attacker joined the squad in Jeddah late Friday night and is now ready to feature in the final against Barcelona.
Now, providing an update on Mbappe, journalist Rodra reports that the 27-year-old megastar feels much better and is in a better condition.
The forward underwent an MRI at Valdebebas on Friday before flying to Saudi Arabia and the scan results were much better as well.

However, there is a fear within the Real Madrid locker room concerning Mbappe – that he has been away for all this time and will return to play in a final against Barcelona.
The 27-year-old, after all, did miss Real Madrid’s first game of 2026 against Real Betis and has hardly trained with the rest of the group over the past couple of weeks.
So, there is bound to be some concern within the coaching staff about thrusting him back into the thick of things in a high-intensity clash against their bitter rivals that too in a final with a trophy on the line.
As such, it remains to be seen whether Xabi Alonso deems Mbappe fit and ready to start in tomorrow’s El Clasico or opts to err on the side of the caution with his ace attacker.
