Real Sociedad add two pre-season friendlies in England | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have announced two more July friendlies in England, part of their first pre-season under Pellegrino Matarazzo.

AS reports that the squad, excluding internationals, remain on holiday while the club finalises plans. The team will return to training on the fourth of July, with an open session on Sunday the fifth.

A meeting with Racing de Santander, newly promoted to the top flight, is set for 18 July.

The new fixtures pit La Real against Aston Villa, managed by Unai Emery and the current Europa League champions, on 25 July, then Wolverhampton on 28 July. Both matches will be played at The Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium (Walsall). Kick-off times are 15.00 local time and 19.45 British time respectively.

La Real will travel on 24 July and spend five days in England, combining the two fixtures with training sessions. They plan to return to Donostia on Wednesday 29.
