Real Sociedad have agreed to terminate forward Mirari Uria's contract, which had a year left. The club said in a statement that she will leave.
A Zubieta academy graduate, Uria stepped up to the first team but had little impact last season, playing 612 minutes across league and cup without scoring.
She debuted in October 2019 in a Basque derby against Athletic Club at Anoeta before more than 19,000 spectators, and later became the first product of the modern academy structure to pass 100 appearances.
Under Arturo Ruiz she was largely a back-up, with Edna Imade, plus Lavogez and Intza, ahead of her. Her busiest spell came after the winter break with three starts in four matches, including the cup tie against Levante Badalona.
Imade’s January move to Bayern Munich, after a loan clause was triggered, appeared to open space for Uria, yet minutes remained scarce. With the arrival of Ava Seelenfreund, Sonya Keefe and Ainhoa Marín next season, her game time was going to be difficult. The club thanked her service and wished her well for the future.
