Real Sociedad confirm two-year deal for Ainhoa Marín | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have confirmed the signing of Ainhoa Marín from Deportivo de La Coruña on a two-year deal. The club confirmed the agreement on Wednesday, following the arrivals of Laura Camino and Ainoa Campo.

Under Arturo Ruiz, La Real add consistency, one-on-one threat and competitive bite in a wide role that will be key in Europe. The move comes ahead of the club's return to the Champions League.

After completing her medical at the Policlínica and visiting Anoeta, the 25-year-old expressed her delight at joining and her eagerness to help the team.

Marín was among Deportivo's standouts last season, registering six goals and five assists. She logged 2,652 minutes, the third most among outfield players in the domestic competition.

Further reinforcement on the flanks is in the works, with Sonya Keefe and Ava Seelenfreund targeted for the same area. Keefe, from Granada, was the league's fifth top scorer with 11, matching Edna Imade's tally for La Real before she left for Bayern Munich.

Seelenfreund, an American striker, has been playing for Portugal's Torreense, scoring 12. The trio will compete for the manager's trust and aim to offset the exits of Claire Lavogez and Lucía Pardo.

Marín came through Barcelona's academy from 2013 to 2018, then featured for Espanyol and CE Seagull before establishing herself at Dépor ABANCA from 2021.
