Real Sociedad to face Levante last as five matches fill 14 days | OneFootball

Real Sociedad will return from the international break to an intense run, five matches in 14 days capped by Levante. LaLiga confirmed on Monday that the Levante fixture will close the sequence a week before the San Mamés derby with Athletic.

With Europa League ties on Thursdays, Sunday or Monday league slots had looked likely this season. The next three LaLiga games are scheduled for Sundays, something supporters will probably welcome.

The run starts on Sunday 11 October at 16.15 against Deportivo de la Coruña in Anoeta.

Four days later they travel to Brussels to face Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday 15 October at 18.45 in the Europa League.

They return to league action on Sunday 18 October away to Málaga at 18.30.

The following Thursday brings the longest European trip, to Norway to meet Lillestrom on 22 October at 21.00.

It concludes on Sunday 25 October at 18.30 when Levante visit San Sebastián. On paper the sequence should be favourable for points in both competitions, and rotations will be required.
