Umar Sadiq could be on his way back to Valencia as early as this season. The Spanish club has made a fresh loan bid to Real Sociedad to bring back the Nigerian striker, offering to cover his full salary. This proposal comes on the heels of his successful temporary spell during the second half of last season.

The 27-year-old Nigerian international joined Los Ches last January on a six-month loan deal. He made a notable impact at Mestalla, scoring five goals in sixteen La Liga matches. This performance convinced Valencia’s management of his value to their attacking line. After returning to San Sebastián at the end of his loan, Valencia is now eager to bring him back for the upcoming campaign. Carlos Corberán’s side is counting on the clinical edge shown by the former Almeria man to boost their frontline.

Real Sociedad is currently considering the offer while remaining open to various scenarios regarding the striker’s future. The Basque club could also secure financial compensation as part of the deal.
