The Spanish Super Cup, featuring Real Sociedad after last season’s Copa del Rey win, will be staged in Istanbul across three stadiums from two to six February. The Spanish and Turkish federations announced this on Thursday at a presentation and signing in Istanbul.

The semi-finals will be played on Tuesday two February and Wednesday three February. Barcelona face Atlético Madrid, and Real Sociedad meet Real Madrid, with the order still to be confirmed. The final will take place on Saturday six February.

The competition will not have a single venue. The Atatürk Olympic Stadium, initially floated, will not host any match.

The first semi-final will be at the Chobani Stadyumu, also known as chobani Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadyumu, home of Fenerbahçe, which holds more than 50,000.

The second semi-final will be played at the Tüpras Stadyum, currently Vodafone Park, Beşiktaş’s ground, with a capacity of 42,680.

The final on six February will be staged at the Ali Sami Yen Stadyumu, Galatasaray’s stadium, which has a capacity of 52,600. After a stint in Saudi Arabia, the competition now heads to Türkiye.
