Despite the negative experiences, Bellingham wants to write a different chapter this time. For him, the second leg is more than just a quarter-final: „It’s a final,“ emphasised the Englishman. After the 2-1 defeat in the first leg, Real are under pressure – a win is a must if they are to keep their chances of winning the title alive

The starting position makes the situation even more explosive. FC Barcelona are already ahead in La Liga and Real have been knocked out of the cup, leaving the Champions League as the last realistic chance of winning the title

Bellingham also wants to make a statement in the direct duel with Harry Kane. Although he praised his compatriot as an „unbelievable player“, he couldn’t resist a little dig at the Bundesliga race
