Rebecca Holloway returns to Birmingham City Women | OneFootball

Rebecca Holloway has returned to Birmingham City on an 18-month contract following a spell at Racing Louisville.

The 28-year-old, who plays as a midfielder or defender, has 22 caps for Northern Ireland and previously played 65 times for the Blues, who are among those chasing the Barclays Women’s Championship title.

Holloway told BluesTV: “It feels good to be back. To be honest, it feels like I’ve never been away, but I know a lot has changed and obviously I’m excited to get going.

“Now coming back, I want to help the team as much as possible getting back into the WSL. They have already done so well this season and it’s just now how can I come in and help.

“I knew for me it was good to be part of a healthy, competitive environment and just feel valued. That was a big part in me wanting to come back.”
