Recent Chelsea arrival Mamadou Sarr has apparently made a good impression at Cobham with the help of Andrey Santos.

The centre back was recalled early from his season long loan with sister club Strasbourg as Chelsea looked to tighten up the back line midway through the season.

EXCLUSIVE! Two more NEW names added to Chelsea summer list of targets – One from Wolves and one from Atletico Madrid!! 👀

Sarr seems to be very highly rated at BlueCo, who own both Chelsea and Strasbourg, and now they have bought him back to their flagship club to continue his career and positive development as a player so far.

He certainly looks like he ticks a lot of the boxes, and there is a very positive article out on the Senegal international in The Sun today.

They’re basically talking about how good Sarr is and how well he has settled back in at Chelsea, with the help of his former Strasbourg team mate, Andrey Santos who is also now at Chelsea permanently.

The report says that Sarr has already made a strong impression at Cobham with his talent and ultimate professionalism. He is one of the first to arrive at training, and his relationship with Santos – formed under Liam Rosenior at Strasbourg – has helped him settle quickly.

So there are all the good connections for him there already, connections that he is already used to. Let’s hope he continues to play well.
