Manchester City will entertain Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club managed to earn a narrow 1-0 win over Leeds United recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.
Pep Guardiola will set his side up in a 4-1-3-2 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this clash. Tijjani Reijnders could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest because Nico O’Reilly is a doubt for this game.
Gianluigi Donnarumma will feature in between the sticks for the Mancunian outfit after he kept a clean sheet in his last outing. Ruben Dias will continue alongside Marc Guehi at the heart of the Man City backline as they look to maintain a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.
Matheus Nunes will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Rayan Ait-Nouri tries to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Nathan Ake will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Rodri will operate as the holding midfielder for Man City as he looks to offer decent protection for his teammates at the back.
The talented trio of Tijjani Reijnders, Bernardo Silva and Rayan Cherki could play just ahead of them as part of Guardiola’s attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create enough chances for Man City to win this clash.
Nico Gonzalez and Phil Foden will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Omar Marmoush and Antoine Semenyo will once again lead the charge for the Mancunian giants up top. Both of them need to combine well if they want to cause some headaches for the Nottingham defenders this Wednesday night.
Savinho will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
