A Premier League player has been tipped to join Chelsea now very soon in a move that could see one in and one out.

The news comes off the back of Chelsea getting back to winning ways yesterday afternoon by beating Everton 2-0 in the Premier League. It was a game that many Blues fans had been fearing due to a rough run of form lately.

There was a bizarre reaction from Enzo Maresca after the game when he complained about the lack of support that he has been receiving lately, the worst he has experienced since he’s been at the club according to the gaffer.

It was Malo Gusto who grabbed the decisive second goal in the game to finish things off in what was a fine overall display from the right back yesterday.

And now, another player is being tipped to join this squad under Maresca.

Mainoo to Chelsea?

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider he’s heard Manchester United are lining up a one in, one out swap of two England internationals:

“I think it’s very unfair and I think that Mainoo, look, he’s a squandered talent in that sense. I just don’t think he’s, for some reason, he hasn’t caught [Ruben] Amorim’s eye. He thinks he doesn’t fit the style.

“I think that they decided that Adam Wharton is going to be one of their targets and I think that Mainoo may find himself reinventing himself at Chelsea.

“That’s where I see the situation going and that’s the whispers I’ve been hearing. I think it would be good for Mainoo. I think he needs to get out of there and move forward.”
