Missing Leeds United supporter Michael "Little Mick" Hewitt has been found safe and well in Barcelona after more than 10 days without contact.

On Wednesday morning, Gary Hewitt said in a post that his brother had been located and had been blissfully unaware of the widespread search.

The 65-year-old travelled from Leeds to Barcelona last week, where he was due to connect to a Boston flight for England's group-stage match against Ghana. He had been missing since 21 June. After 10 days without contact, his family reported him missing.

An appeal for information was widely shared across the media and the football community.

The family had hoped for a simple, happy resolution, with further details to follow once authorities were notified and normality returned. Thanks were extended to everyone for their help and good wishes, with a nod to Marching on Together.
