Few players across the entirety of Leicester City as a footballing institution will be remembered more fondly than Riyad Mahrez.
A key figure during the Foxes' memorable run to their one and only Premier League title in 2015-16, the Algerian winger lit up the top flight of English football while endearing himself to the East Midlands forever.
But it was the previous season that club fans and rival supporters got a real taste of what he could do after he arrived from French minnows Le Havre.
Ten years ago on this day, Mahrez bagged the only goal during their 1-0 away win at Hull City, ending their 13-match winless run while kickstarting their campaign toward Premier League safety.
Picking up the ball a little over 30 yards from goal after David Nugent played a simple squared pass, Mahrez drove forward and cut in on his lethal left foot before dispatching a 25-yard drive that flew beyond Hull keeperĀ Allan McGregor into the bottom corner.
Iconic.
