LOSC have appointed Rémy Vercoutre as goalkeeping coach on Friday, as Davide Ancelotti’s backroom team takes shape.

The club said in a statement that his experience as a player and coach, allied to top-level expertise, will bolster the technical staff. He will be responsible for supporting, developing and optimising the performances of the professional goalkeepers.

The former Lyon goalkeeper had been working in the United Arab Emirates, most recently with Al-Wasl in 2025-2026.

Vercoutre, from Grande-Synthe in northern France, made 240 Ligue 1 appearances for Lyon, Caen and Montpellier.

He previously held the same role at Impact de Montréal from 2019 to 2021, then at Lyon from 2021 to 2025.

The move brings him back to Ligue 1 with LOSC.
