Wendie Renard has been rested again for Sunday’s derby with Saint-Étienne, with Lyon trimming the attack to four and reinforcing midfield, according to Le Progres.
First-choice keepers Christiane Endler and Teagan Micah miss a third straight game, which gives Féerine Belhadj another chance, with Marchal also involved.
Renard had overcome a muscle scare before the trip to PSG and hoped to return on Wednesday for the 4-0 Coupe de la Ligue win over Marseille, but coach Giráldez chose not to risk the 35-year-old and has kept her back for the derby.
At centre-back, Alice Sombath is also rested after the OM match, and promising Maïssa Fatallah is left out after her first start. Giráldez could pair Ingrid Engen with Sweden’s Emma Nelhage.
Ada Hegerberg and Jule Brand drop out too, leaving only four recognised forwards in the 18, Tabitha Chawinga, Vicki Becho, Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Kadidiatou Diani. The midfield is bolstered, with six options including Inès Benyahia, Damaris Egurrola, Melchie Dumornay, Lindsey Heaps and Lily Yohannes.
At the Parc des Princes, Giráldez trialled a 4-4-2 and could stick with it against relegation-threatened Saint-Étienne.
