Stade Rennais have identified Stade de Reims midfielder Dion Lopy (21) as a potential target for the upcoming summer transfer window. The 21-year-old has impressed in his first season in Ligue 1, earning his first international cap for Senegal in March 2023. Lopy has played 26 matches this season for Reims and has attracted interest from several Ligue 1 and Premier League clubs.
According to Foot Mercato, Rennes have expressed interest in Lopy, while another Ligue 1 club has already had talks with the player’s representatives. Despite the interest, Reims is not actively seeking to sell Lopy and will only consider offers that meet their valuation.
Additionally, two Premier League clubs are said to be keeping tabs on the player, as Lopy’s physicality and technical ability make him a promising fit for the English game.
Lopy joined Reims after a successful U20 World Cup campaign with Senegal in 2020. He has quickly become a key player for the club and is considered one of Ligue 1’s most promising young talents.
