Rennes submit new offer for Brest’s Pierre Lees-Melou

According to Foot Mercato, Rennes have submitted an offer for Pierre Lees-Melou (31) from Brest over a potential transfer. One of the standout performers in Ligue 1 last term as Les Pirates qualified for the Champions League, Les Rouges et Noirs will be hoping to gain his services.

Rennes previously had an offer of €10m rejected for the former Norwich City midfielder in January as Brest looked to keep their star midfielder. An offer between €8m and €12m this summer is expected to tempt the Champions League qualifiers to sell Lees-Melou.

It remains to be seen how much the newest offer from the Breton club is worth. However, if they are to return with an offer similar in value to what they submitted in January, Lees-Melou could be playing in the red and black shirt of Rennes next season.
