Three weeks after his injury against Torino, Paulo Dybala is back in the squad for the match against Fiorentina.
The Giallorossi’s number 21 returned to the squad on Friday and, according to Il Tempo, could get a few minutes in the final moments of the match today.
Angeliño, however, did not travel with the team due to the flu. The Spaniard also sat out 90 minutes on the bench against Lille.
The defense is expected to feature the usual trio of Evan N’Dicka, Zeki Celik, and Gianluca Mancini.
In midfield, the Bryan Cristante-Manu Koné pairing is expected to return, after the Frenchman sat out 70 minutes on the bench in Europe, replacing the Italian-Canadian.
Kostas Tsimikas was unimpressive on the flank last Thursday, having made the mistake that led to Lille’s goal.
Against Fiorentina, Devyne Rensch will replace him on the left.
On the right, there’s no doubt: Wesley will start.
Matías Soulé is essential in the attacking midfield, while Lorenzo Pellegrini has the advantage over Stephan El Shaarawy. Artem Dovbyk is ready to lead the attack, and Evan Ferguson underwent an MRI on his ankle, which revealed no problems.
