Serie A giants AC Milan and Inter are reportedly monitoring Lazio center-back Mario Gila with keen interest.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Spaniard could quit the Stadio Olimpico in the coming months.
Mario Gila has become Lazio’s defensive cornerstone since joining the club from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022.
However, the 25-year-old’s contract expires in 2027, with the Biancocelesti still unable to tie him down to a new deal.

Gila earns around €1.1 million per season at the Olimpico. Yet, Lazio cannot realistically hope to renew his contract on similar terms.
Furthermore, the player could use his contractual wobble to force his exit either in January or next summer.
Meanwhile, Inter and Milan are aware of Gila’s situation in the capital and could try to pounce soon.
As for Lazio, they would ideally extend the Spaniard’s deal.
Otherwise, they will have to sell him swiftly, given that 50% of any future transfer fee goes directly to Los Blancos.
