According to Matteo Moretto via FCInter1908, the Camp Nou giants must overcome two major obstacles to land the Italian star.

Despite his recent off-field issues, Alessandro Bastoni remains one of the most highly-rated defenders in European football.

Indeed, the 26-year-old has been the cornerstone of Inter’s backline for years.

Naturally, his outstanding form at San Siro has not gone unnoticed, though it’s hard to see him departing the club anytime soon.

Barcelona have reportedly earmarked Bastoni as their top defensive target for the summer.

However, Los Blaugranas’ financial turmoil makes it almost impossible to meet Inter’s valuation.

Indeed, Bastoni is among Europe’s most expensive defenders, with Inter reluctant to sell him unless they receive a monstrous offer.

Furthermore, it’s uncertain whether the player would agree to move to La Liga.

Indeed, Bastoni has never shown any interest in leaving Inter. Moreover, the parties are currently negotiating a contract renewal.
