Report: Chelsea among clubs interested in £20m rated Champions League star | OneFootball

Chelsea are among the clubs interested in Club Brugge talent Aleksandar Stankovic according to reports in Belgium.

The Blues didn’t make any signings in January, but are expected to once again add to their squad in the summer window.

Chelsea are thought to be looking for a centre back, midfielder and attacker, and have been linked with a host of names.

The Blues are believed to still hold interest in Morgan Rogers, whilst they already have Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving in the summer.

Midfield is believed to be a priority position, with Elliot Anderson and Adam Wharton thought to be on Chelsea’s radar.

Having missed out on Jeremy Jacquet it will be interesting to see who Chelsea target at centre back, with Como’s Jacobo Ramon and Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi said to be on their shortlist.

However, it appears Chelsea have another name on their radar and HLN have reported that Chelsea are interested in Stankovic.

The report adds Arsenal are also interested in the 20-year-old, who left Inter Milan last summer, but the Italian giants do have a £20m buyback clause.

Stankovic can play both as a centre back and defensive midfielder, and has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 36 appearances this season.

Midfield Chelsea’s priority in the summer

Despite having a plethora of midfield options the Blues are looking to add another midfielder to help ease the burden on Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
