The Blues had a quiet January, but are expected to be busy in the summer with a number of positions in the squad needing to be addressed.

Chelsea are reportedly still in the market for a centre back, whilst it’s believed they are looking to add another midfielder and attacker.

Chelsea interested in Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic

The Blues have paid the price for not replacing Levi Colwill, who suffered an ACL injury before the start of the season.

Chelsea have had a number of issues defensively, and failed in their pursuit of Jeremy Jacquet in January, with the Frenchman opting to join Liverpool.

However, it’s likely a centre back will be added this summer, and Chelsea have linked with AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlovic.

The Blues have also been linked with Nottingham Forest’s Murillo, and now BILD have reported Chelsea are one of the clubs to show interest in Vuksovic, who’s impressed at Hamburg this season.

The report adds Liverpool are also interested, but it’s down to parent club Tottenham to decide if they want to give him a chance in the first team next season, with his market value said to be €60m.

Chelsea face big decisions at centre back

Whilst the Blues are linked with a number of names, they also face big decisions on the future of some of their existing centre backs.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Trevoh Chalobah will have two years left on their current deals at the end of the season, whilst there are also doubts over the future of Benoit Badiashile.

There’s a chance all three could leave and it’ll be interesting to see what decisions the club makes, with it likely the centre back department will look very different come the start of next season.
