Chelsea are reportedly ready to make a big offer in order to sign Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior, according to a report.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the move away from the Spanish club. His contract expires in 2027, and Real Madrid have not been able to agree on a new deal with him.
This of course will spark all the usual rumours of a transfer away, and Chelsea are always going to be a club who get thrown into the mix of these rumours simply due to the fact that they have been out there spending a lot of money rebuilding their squad in the last few years.
Do they still have some big spending to do? Will they have another big buy in them as they look to complete that squad rebuild? You can never say never of course, but unfortunately, the source of this story is just not a very good one and one that I personally do not have any belief in.

Nope, it just wont happen, I’m afraid. As I say, you can never say never, but I give this not even a 2% chance of happening.
According to a report from Fichajes, Chelsea could offer around €150 million in order to get the deal done.
If Chelsea paid that, it would break all sorts of transfer records. It just wont happen. Chelsea haven’t paid out a big sum for a player since Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, and even those fees were just north of £100m. So are they really going to smash those fees for Vinicius? Nope.
I know he’s a world class player, but this is one we can all shelve and forget about I think, and move onto the next one!
