Chelsea are said to have a shortlist of three targets, but it remains to be seen if they are able to get any deals done.

Chelsea expected to make €50m offer Jeremy Jacquet

Como’s Jacobo Ramon and Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi are said to be on the list, but Chelsea have identified Jacquet as their main target.

The 20-year-old is having a good season at Rennes, and the Ligue 1 side are reluctant to lose him mid-season as they look to qualify for the Champions League.

Chelsea have made Jacquet their main January target.

Rennes are holding out for a club record sale, and are looking for around €70m, a price which Chelsea reportedly aren’t prepared to pay.

Chelsea have been in negotiations, but are yet to make an offer, however, RMC Sport have reported the Blues are expected to table an initial offer of €50m.

Jacquet has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea and has given his approval to the move, but an agreement between the clubs is still missing.

Axel Disasi back in first team training

Whilst the Blues are still trying to get a deal for Jacquet done, one defender who’s expected to leave this month is Axel Disasi.

Disasi is said to have attracted interest from Roma and Lyon, as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia, but as of yet no offers have come in.

However, the 27-year-old was back in first team training on Tuesday, and it appears he could be handed another chance under Liam Rosenior, although whether he plays for the club again is still unknown.
