The Blues are expected to be busy this summer having appointed Xabi Alonso as their new manager, and it’s believed he’ll have a say in transfers.

Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a centre back, whilst it’s been reported they want to add another midfielder and attacker to their ranks.

Chelsea weighing up move for Jarrod Bowen

Behdad Eghbali has said the recruitment model will be tweaked this summer, and Chelsea will look to target players with proven Premier League experience.

Despite signing four attackers last summer, and with Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving this summer, the Blues still want another attacker.

Chelsea are said to be looking for a creative attacker who can play from the left and centrally, and have been linked with Morgan Rogers.

The Blues have also previously been linked with Bowen and The Independent have reported Chelsea are weighing up a move for the 29-year-old.

The report adds the Blues have been considering Bowen for some time, but they aren’t the only suitors for the England international.

The Independent add there’s belief clubs will look to try and complete a deal for Bowen for £40m, with West Ham ideally wanting around £50m.

Bowen scored 11 goals and registered 12 assists in 42 appearances in all competitions last season, but that wasn’t enough to help the Hammers stay in the Premier League.
