Inter have been linked with a surprise move for Phil Foden, with Italian journalist Paolo Condò suggesting the Manchester City forward could be tempted by a move to the Nerazzurri, as the club’s pursuit of their primary creative target Nico Paz looks increasingly unlikely to succeed.
According to Calciomercato.it, Inter have long identified Nico Paz as their ideal profile, a player capable of creating individual superiority and unlocking defences. However, Real Madrid are expected to exercise their buy-back clause on the Argentine, and there is no guarantee they would then sanction another sale.

Speaking on Sky Sport 24, Condò put forward Foden as a serious alternative.
“He has had less space at City this year, perhaps due to some issues off the pitch,” he said. “But with a serious and interesting proposal he could be tempted by an Italian experience.”
Foden is contracted to Manchester City until June 2027, giving him just over a year remaining on his deal.
While his talent is undisputed, and would represent a marquee signing of the highest order, Condò acknowledged that the likelihood of the England international leaving the Premier League for Serie A remains low.
Also discussed as a potential Inter target was Paulo Dybala, whose contract at Roma expires next month. Condò dismissed the idea firmly. “No, Inter must sign a player who guarantees something over time,” he said. “Dybala guarantees nothing for the coming years.”
