Report Inter meet Dimarco agent ahead of Real Madrid battle | OneFootball

Inter face Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening, but also took the opportunity to meet Federico Dimarco’s agent to discuss a new contract.

It kicks off at the Bernabeu in Madrid at 20.00 UK time (21.00 CEST).

The Nerazzurri open their Champions League campaign on Spanish soil this evening, although they are forced to do without the injured Dimarco and Djed Spence.

Dimarco opportunity for Inter meeting

According to Sky Sport Italia, Dimarco’s agent Arturo Canales is present in the stands, and used this match as an ideal chance to meet face to face with Inter director of sport Dario Baccin.

It was an important encounter, because the Italy international had complained he was still waiting to receive a proposal for a new contract, considering his current deal only runs to June 2028.

He is in a position of strength to negotiate for an improved salary, as he was just named Serie A Player of the Season for 2025/26.

Inter also needed to set the scene, as Baccin has taken over from Piero Ausilio as director of sport, having been his right hand man for several years.
