Inter’s unexpected Champions League elimination at the hands of Bodo/Glimt threatens to put the squeeze on the club’s finances.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri may have to offload several first-team stars to finance the incoming market.

Denzel Dumfries has just recovered from a severe ankle injury and could return to the starting lineup on Saturday.

However, the Dutchman’s career at San Siro could be drawing to a clause.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri may cash in on the 29-year-old at the end of the season to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2027.

On the other hand, Marcus Thuram is another candidate to depart the club after a hugely disappointing season.
