Inter Milan could sign defender Koni De Winter from Genoa this summer on one of two possible conditions.

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, report the Belgian would be a target if Inter either sell Benjamin Pavard or Yann Bisseck, or fail to sign Giovanni Leoni.

Defender Koni De Winter has enjoyed and outstanding season with Genoa.

Reportedly, the Belgian has really started to attract transfer interest on the back of his form from last campaign. This includes the interest of Tottenham Hotspur.

And then, big clubs in Serie A are also lining up a move for former Juventus defender De Winter.

The likes of Inter Milan, Napoli, and Atalanta are all targeting the Belgian.

According to Tuttosport, Inter’s interest in De Winter would be contingent on a couple factors.

If Inter are to make a big sale in defense, then the 23-year-old would enter their thinking.

The Nerazzurri could listen to offers for Benjamin Pavard and Yann Bisseck. If either were to leave then De Winter would be a major candidate to replace them.

On the other hand, Inter are also targeting Parma defender Giovanni Leoni. However, there is no guarantee that they will sign the teenage defender.
