Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries is facing a considerable spell on the sidelines after picking up an ankle injury.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri can expect to have their star back in mid-December.
Cristian Chivu lost his starting wingback in a 2-0 home win over Lazio just before the international break.
Therefore, Denzel Dumfries had to watch Sunday’s Milan derby from the stands, with Carlos Augusto taking his place.
Indeed, the Brazilian left-back remains Chivu’s preferred choice over summer signing Luis Henrique.

Inter will be without Dumfries when they take on Atletico Madrid in a mammoth Champions League clash tomorrow.
Furthermore, the 29-year-old is also at risk of missing Liverpool’s visit to Giuseppe Meazza at the start of December.
However, there’s a chance for the former PSV Eindhoven star to regain full fitness ahead of Inter’s next home European outing.
Otherwise, he will be looking to return for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A match against perennial strugglers Genoa on December 14.
