Inter Milan long-serving stalwart Denzel Dumfries could reportedly spend the next couple of months in the treatment room.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Dutchman is likely to undergo surgery on his left ankle.

Indeed, Mattia Zaccagni collapsed on his leg under Petar Sucic’s challenge, causing a sprain that continues to trouble the 29-year-old.

Therefore, Inter must decide whether to sanction surgery immediately or continue with conservative treatment.
