Massimo Tarantino is reportedly on the verge of returning to Roma, where he will sign a multi-year contract.

Indeed, the Giallorossi have already prepared a deal for Tarantino that will keep him at the Stadio Olimpico until 2031.

On the other hand, Tarantino’s impending exit has forced Beppe Marotta to scour the market for potential replacements.

Marotta has already assembled a list of candidates, featuring the name of Michele Sbravati of Juventus at the top.

Indeed, Sbravati has emerged as Marotta’s ideal choice to replace Tarantino, but he’s also keeping other options option.

One such leads to Fiorentina’s Valentino Angeloni, who had already worked at San Siro as a head of scouting.

Last but not least, Parma’s Mattia Notari has caught Marotta’s eye.

However, Fiorentina CEO Fabio Paratici is also keen on luring Notari to Tuscany, which could spoil Inter’s plans.

The two worked together at Juventus back in the day, which might convince Notari to choose Artemio Franchi over San Siro.
